Board splits over possible local body reorganisation

Albert-Eden Local Board is divided over a proposal that could see the number of Auckland's local boards reduced — or its own boundaries redrawn — ahead of the 2028 elections. The board voted five to two to oppose the move at its 26 February meeting.
